MAINTENANCE MECHANIC JOB DESCRIPTION

The Generators Unlimited team provides power and specialty equipment for live events that includes concerts, large corporate gatherings, weddings, live broadcast, film production, emergency backup and more. Event success is our priority. This starts with making sure we are always on top of our equipment maintenance. We currently have an opening for an experienced mechanic. We are a company located in Brisbane, California that has been providing power and specialty equipment to the Bay area for over 25 years!

Our focus is not only to rent portable generators; our services include equipment operators, onsite maintenance and onsite fueling. We carry state-of-the-art portable generators, light towers, transformers, climate control systems, switch gear and cable distribution. Job Responsibilities / Skills:

  • Generator/truck servicing with light duty mechanical work
  • Ability to work independently, be a problem solver, and work with others to complete tasks in a timely safe manner

Education, Experience, and Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in repair and maintenance
  • Forklift certification/training
  • Welding knowledge a plus, but not required
  • Safely transport equipment to customer mapped locations
  • Demonstrate the use of rental equipment to customers
  • Maintain driver logs as applicable
  • Assist in preparing generators for delivery as needed
  • Unrestricted California Driver’s License Class C or A
